Anxiety is among the most common mental health illnesses in Canada according to AnxietyBC. Seeking treatment is important and there are many sources of information around support, self help tools, and resources out there. Please check the credibility and sources of these sites prior to taking it as fact. Ensuring that these sites are evidence-based, written by mental health professionals, and reliable is critical to getting the right kind of support that you need.

Our site provides information to help you understand anxiety, as well as some resources and tools to help you manage your anxiety. We want to invite you though to seek help wherever you live, you don’t need to suffer alone because there are professionals that can help. As counsellors, we see many people suffering from the distressing symptoms of anxiety and we know there is help to be had out there if you find the right fit for you. Our organization treats individuals with mild to severe anxiety but before starting any new treatment it’s good to connect with your family doctor to make them aware of your plans. There are many choices out there for mental health support and not all good, so do your homework before making a decision that will impact your mental health and quality of life moving forward.
