Rates

West Kelowna and Kelowna Counselling Fees are listed below. We also have a few spots for free counselling, where financial hardship may be endured.

We also offer a sliding scale for some that may qualify. These subsidized counselling fees have limited spaces available. Orchard Valley Counselling takes pride in offering competitive rates and additional savings in special circumstances.

Our Counselling Rates are as follows:

Registered Clinical Counsellor (RCC) fees (GST Required)

Individual Counselling Session Rate $120 + GST = $126.00/ 50 minutes
Child & Youth Counselling Session Rate $120 + GST = $126.00/ 50 minutes
Couples & Family Counselling Session Rate $135 + GST = $141.75/ 50 minutes
Divorce Coaching and Mediation $165 + GST = $173.25/ 50 minutes

You’re responsible for all counselling fees after the session is provided and some insurance plans will cover counselling fees.

Registered Social Worker (RSW) fees (No GST Required)

Individual Counselling Session Rate $120/ 50 minutes
Child & Youth Counselling Session Rate $120/ 50 minutes
Couples & Family Counselling Session Rate $135/ 50 minutes
Divorce Coaching and Mediation $165/ 50 minutes

Insurance

Depending on your current health insurance provider or employee benefit plan, it is possible for services to be covered in full or in part. Please contact your provider to verify how your insurance plan compensates you for counselling through your individual plan.

We employee Registered Social Workers and Registered Clinical Counsellors so please let us know prior to booking what your plan covers. We do not currently employee Registered Psychologists.

We’d recommend asking these questions to your insurance provider to help determine your benefits:

Does my health insurance plan include mental health benefits?
Do I have a deductible? If so, what is it and have I met it yet?
Does my plan limit how many sessions per calendar year I can have? If so, what is the limit?
Do I need written approval from my primary care physician in order for services to be covered?

Direct Billing

We are currently able to provide direct billing to some Green Shield Canada, RWAM, CVAP, and ICBC Insurance Plans;etc. Please review the above questions, when determining your coverage with your insurance provider.

All outstanding fees not covered by your insurance plan are the responsibility of the individual client.

Payment

We accept cash, email money transfers, and all major credit cards as forms of payment.

Cancellation Policy

If you are unable to attend a session, please make sure you cancel at least 24-48 hours in advance. Otherwise, you may be charged for the full rate of the session given the discretion of your counsellor.
